April is Earth Month @ SDUSD and what better way to celebrate than engaging students, staff, and families in Earth-friendly learning opportunities and activities!

There are many opportunities to make an impact this Earth Day/Month! Here are some ideas to help you celebrate:

 

• Check out the  Education Resource Library for lessons and activities for any day of the year from www.earthday.org.

• Find tips to Go Green at home and at school here.

• Join the movement to eliminate plastic straws.

• Start planning for next school year! Why wait?

  • Start a green team at your school.

  • Promote waste free lunches.

  • Start composting at your school.  Consider composting with worms (vermicomposting)!​

  • Promote biking and walking to school.

• Celebrate Earth Day every day!​
