SDUSD Recycling Program

All schools that receive waste and recycling services through the District contract with Republic Services are automatically registered to compete in the SDUSD Recycling Challenge.

 

The 2023-24 Challenge was once again points-based.  Schools that submitted an on-line Recycling Challenge Impact Form that demonstrated their school's efforts to educate and promote recycling, waste diversion, and/or sustainability efforts on campus received additional points. The Challenge ran from September 2023 - March 1, 2024.
